Dr.Ron Corbin

where he served as an helicopter pilot, Mr. Corbin is now dedicating
his life to |
|
home burglary awareness and prevention. He has landed
several contracts that includes with LVMPD and cruise
ships companies, where he will hold |
|
meetings to educate people on how to protect their home from
burglars. Burglaries happen every 14 seconds in this country, mainly
during daytime, The |
|
average loss is about $2,000 per burglary and the principal entry
point is the front door (FBI crime statistics). Mr. Corbin indicated
several ways that may |
|
considerably reduce chances of being a burglary victim. Among
those were a dog, tough locks, alarms system, night
lights and also signs that will let |
|
would-be intruders that the house in under 24 hours video
surveillance as well as alarm stickers on windows. Though burglars
do break their way in, most |
|
of the burglaries are committed through unlock doors, open garage,
open windows and patio or backyard doors. Mr.
Corbin recommended the use of a |
|
timer that would switch lights on in the event of a long vacation
away from home. We are glad to have speakers like Mr. Corbin.
His experience fighting |
|
crime and references for doing so, make him one of the
